About Stereopony

I think music is very good for our life. Music is kind of various genre. For example pops, rock, jazz, R&B, and classic and so on. Do you have favorite genre and artists? My favorite genre is J-POP. And I favorite the best artist is a band called Stereopony. So I talk about three things of Stereopony. First, Stereopony’s information. (members name, charge of instrument, and the origin and so on) Next, Stereopony’s activities in Japan and America. Finally, I think Stereopony’s charm.





1. Stereopony’s information
Stereopony is three pieces girls band in Japan. The band genre is J-POP and rock. The members name is Aimi, Shiho, and Nohana.  And they are charge of instrument that Aimi is charge of guitar and vocal, Shiho is charge of drum,and  Nohana is charge of bass. This band name mean that three-dimensional sound want to sent everyone like a pony ran through. They are organized a band in Okinawa in 2007. And they were scouted by SONY in 2008.

2. Stereopony’s activity
Stereopony has released eleven single and three albums so far. In addition, they are released music video and ZONE’s cover music. Sometimes,  they speak the Internet radio broadcast. So they appearing many live concerts all over Japan. For example, Tokyo, Hokkaido, Kyoto, Fukuoka, Osaka and so on. Moreover, they performed live at SXSW Music Festival Japan Nite 2009 in Austin, Texas when they are four month later from a debut. Recently, they appeared Anime Boston in Boston in 2011 and Sakura-con 2012 in Seattle. Then, "STEREOPONY U.S.TOUR" was performed for three days in U.S. 3 city in April, 2012.

3.Stereopony’s charm

 I think that the charm of Stereopony is wonderful melody which three persons play. In that I feel charm for Aimi of the vocal and guitar which deals with the lyrics and composition. Because her singing ability and quality of voice are powerful straight. In addition, because her appearance is also cute.

Stereopony is not famous. But they will receive a lot of attention. Because I think that they have some shining. Please listen to Stereopony’s music.

My Music Activity

I do not belong to TIU club or circle. But I am doing music activity myself. I joint force band with other university students. We practice a music instrument in person every day. And we

go to music studio once a week. Sometimes, we are playing music a live concert. I introduce about my music activity.

First, I will talk about my music instrument experience. I leaned how to play the piano when I was  a first-year student in elementary school to third-year student in high school. The reason I learned to play the piano was I like music when I was child. In addition to the piano, I play the trombone and drum a little in brass band club when I was junior high school. But I am not good at playing  them. And I will play the guitar after this. Then I want to play the guitar in my band.

Second, I will talk about my band activity. I form this band since October, 2011. My band name is “You Scary Cat”. I think my band genre is pops maybe. This band consists of four members. The members are boys except me. And my charge of the vocal. Our activity place is mainly Tachikawa, Hachioji, Shinzyuku, Ikebukuro in Tokyo.We are doing writing songs in the original. And please come play live so if you like the second time in 23 days of the month Hachioji RIPS.

Finally, I will talk about my vocal school. I have attended school in the neighborhood vocal from a year and a half year ago.Have attended twice a month, this is the time in a single lesson. There, you can practice singing the song you want to bring your own. In addition, or to the practice of speech with my teacher. The lesson is very fun. And it will be good for me.

    

I am enjoying my music life. I want to continue this activity in the future.

The Placement Office

The placement office is the first floor of first building at TIU. There is the most important for job hunting. And we can know the offer of a job there. So the students get a lot of the latest job information. In this article, I will research about what is the rate of employment in Japan these days? , What kind of jobs can students in the Department of Language Communication get? , How long is the placement office open every day?



Q1. What is the rate of employment in Japan these days?

The rate of employment of  university student in Japan is 91.0% a graduate of the class of 2010. So it has decreased 0.8 % from 2009 onward. It is the worst from 1996 onward. The university student did  not get a job are guess about 33,000 people. And the university student is terrible get a job in the future continued.


 
Q2. What kind of jobs can students in the Department of Language Communication get?
 
The Department of Language Communication students got all kind of jobs a graduate of the class of 2009-2011.. For example, the construction industry, the manufacturing industry, a business company, retailing, the finance business, the insurance business, real estate, transport, a warehouse, energy, the education world, the service industry, medical treatment, welfare, a group,and a public employee.The service industry is the most of  
people got a job in Department of Language Communication recently.


　
Q3. How long is the placement office open every day?

The placement office is open daily except Sunday and holiday. It is open from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on ordinary days. But it is closed at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Saturday. However the placement office is open time extension for job hunting. We can appreciate job hunting advice there. So we do not need reservation.



The placement office is very useful  for job hunting. It is teach us a kind of information. So we should make use of  the placement office when we start to job hunting.
